A gift for my son’s mother in law, sweet Deborah, this petite daisy vase allows a small spray of “end of season” color in tiny corners of their home.

It’s slab rolled and hand formed from Laguna B mix, textured with tiny daisies, glazed - then wiped back with Mayco Shipwreck. I added tiny dots of gold glaze accents at the centers of the flowers with a glaze made permanent at 350° in my home oven.

I’m enjoying getting to know the medium and trying not to have the house tilt too much because there is now quite a bit of pottery here!!
