Imagine my pleasure when I spotted this wonderful door in old west Austin... The lines are so beautiful it just needed to be photographed...

I've not translated it into glass yet, but - I am fitfully aware of how wonderful it is... so maybe soon.

Designs on hot glass aren't stiff and rigid... they're fluid and full of motion - because that's the state of the glass....

...the thin stringers of glass lay down onto the base bead and I hold my breath as the curve is formed... then the coil... then *snap* goes the stringer - sealing the end, and I can breathe. Smiles - Jill
