Tonight’s offerings are shown below - and I’d like to tell you more about my model - Ludia. She is scaled to life size - and all earrings she models are as if a real actual person had them on. I love it because I can size the picture down and the earrings are sized down as well… just an easier and less distracting way to give you a better idea about size.
E97 - Denim Air Balloon Earrings - $50
Glorious little balls of air - these hollow denim beads have thin walls and allow light to release this beautiful color.
These are wired onto handmade sterling silver findings 2” from your earlobe.
Unusual setting for these light golden beauties… much like a pale ale… minus the bubbles!
These swing freely in a little sterling cage that mimics the bead shape - suspended from handmade SS ear wires.
Alternate color choices for my making of the E254 Perfection, shown above. Select color choices from drop down menu at right.
E251 - Denim Captoe Earrings - $50
This week I’m celebrating this glorious color - Denim. These earrings are a prime example of letting the beauty of the glass speak for itself. The mandrel hole (what I held onto while making the bead) is hidden in the cap… allowing only the glass for the transparent lower portion. Hand shaped & matched beautifully. Sterling findings, these hang 1 7/8” from your earlobe.
Delicate Lotus Blossom Pendant Pale Grn/Sepia - $48
Beautiful Pendant of pale green glass - dotted at the top with iridescent glass - set with a sterling bail - and accompanied by 14ea 3/8”D sepia rounds. The mandrel holes are 1/16” and these are ready to string and wear. Pendant Itself measures 1 1/2” x 1 1/2”.
La Ventana #1 - $75 - SOLD
Three colors. Actually - two colors, pale green, and denim blue - plus one version of these two combined… so everyone plays nicely - and matches so nicely. : ). Four sizes of beautifully straight sided chunky tabs - 1/2”,5/8”, 3/4”, and 1” - all with a thickness of 1/4” and mandrel holes of 1/16”. I have deliberately left the chill marks on the large face of the beads - as it gives it an old timey poured glass feel and gently reminds me of a window I saw on the island of Murano.

A transparent Elizabethan Collar of sparkle surrounds these little denim droplet headpins… capped with a sterling lentil flat bead - then wired and suspended from delicate handmade Sterling earwires - these dangle 1 1/4” from your earlobe.
Sparkling lovelies in veiled purple, denim, apple, and a beautiful colorless clear. Elegant and always shimmering… these beads (1/2”D, 5/8”D) have 1/16” mandrel holes, 3/4”D has 3/32” mandrel hole. All have surface carvings that bend and tease the light.
I always say that the more angles there are in a surface, the more ways the light can get thrown around… lighting up the interior of the bead - and creating sparkle. There thirteen beads in this set - and they measure 12” as strung. All transparents, peach, colorless, Pinky, Apple green, and one light amber.
Lovely droplets of clear swinging from a sterling silver pendulum - moves with you and reflects your world. Delicate and versatile!
An edgy group of fun… three points (with silver loops for stringing already in place) and an accompanying cast to play off of them. 7.5” set as shown, with the points 1.25”-1.5” long. Not much more needed for a very cool finished piece…
Like the Little Black Dress single earrings - only these are a trio of 3/8”D single hole beads… a nice cluster suspended from a handmade SS ear wire - just one inch from your earlobe.
Just a fun cluster of personalities…. carved, cut, encased, hollow, lentils, tabs - all with 1/16” mandrel holes.
Crimson with flashes of blue/purple, dotted with bubbles of clear. Festive earrings that command attention - but don’t take up much space or weigh much. Suspended from Sterling Silver pendulums - these are an easy wear and move so nicely with you. 1 3/8” top to tip.
A new twist on a drop down pendant - giving it movement I so enjoy with the other creations. Paired nicely with a pair of 1/2” denim blue earrings. Ludia is modeling them - she will give you a good idea of scale and how long they are. I can quickly tell you that the earrings drop 1”… and the pendant is 1 7/8” in length.
Etched and tumbled, much like the sea on glass… only it was me. Rings, hollow, rounds, smaller rounds and smaller disks. Just waiting for your creativity. I put together several of these boxes thinking I was all set to make a finished item… but honestly - I would rather make beads! LOL
Fun and beautiful Market Day Bracelet - Seven 15mm dia Spree shaped beads with delicate modern stringerwork coupled with one hammered Karen Hilltribe Silver hammered Lentil front and center… silver links and a 3/8”D dangle charm on the adjustable end for the silver lobster clasp.
Three stunners. Encased khaki core with satellite droplets of silver, carved denim disk, and 15mm dia. golden mica charm.
Sweet little bubble pendant right at 1” in length - three beautiful droplets surround a core of a color swirled core… tiny droplets frame them - and another droplet is on the base. Presented on a 21” delicate sterling silver ball chain.
Three 3/8”D rounds - notice - NO HOLE!! - in a delicate pink that offers differing shades of color based upon the stack when worn. Sterling silver ear wires - and right at 1 1/4” drop from your earlobes.
I love these. I love the two shades of green, suspended delicately above a swirl of colorless borosilicate….
The fun thing about the matchsticks is that when I make the beads - it’s such a struggle to keep the beads square - then find the midpoint - so that the beads balance. Suspended from handmade sterling silver earwires.
If one is good, two is better… three? Within reason - you know me and my awareness of heavy earrings…. so. These are fun and delightful.
Silver sticks, crossed to show the edges - these are a heavy gauge sterling silver - stamped with the bubble motif, and suspended from my handmade ear wires… fun and a little bit different!
Glorious, and glitterful… but in a nicely refined way. These are encased in clear - and when pressed into the 15mm lentils - retain a small rim of clear at the perimeter… giving it a bit of sparkle in its own edginess. Lovely for the upcoming holiday season.
A little bit different here - Tri lobed dotted beads with smaller dots at top and bottom of each of the three… then suspended from the middle - a single holed ‘charm’ of same… kind of like a mini chandelier…. really really mini. : )
Almost looking like edible Macron - these tiles come to you in softened hues of late summer with trailings of fine white scrollwork. Pressed into straight sided - slightly pillow topped beads that measure 15mm in diameter. All beads have 1/16” mandrel holes.
Nicely cooperative grouping of highly styled beads. Many unique shapes and looks here. Encased Jetstream, Nailheads, Encased Stardust, Carved, and two exquisite jet black cubes with mirror finished sides.
All beads have 1/16” mandrel holes except a few dangle charms that have sterling bails and are shown above threaded over small seed beads, and at the end of the strand at the top. Very nice mix here.
Classic ivory and black in my Over & Under style. I’ve taken measures to reduce the weight of the earrings. These weigh in at 4grams each - that’s a little over a penny. Lots of swingy movement - you control the earrings - and are not at the mercy of something stiff that doesn’t move with you. All findings are sterling silver and handmade by me. These earrings dangle about 1 3/4” from your ear lobe.
The best of both worlds - 1/2”d sweet apricot drops, suspended from transparent glass in similar color. Nice balancing act with a lovely movement due to the nicely designed hinging system… All findings handmade from sterling silver wire.
Doesn’t the name just make you sing that song?? Cornflower blue dangles below periwinkle disks… classy and quiet.
Yum. I weighed these earrings - each weighs 2grams… how’s that for almost nothing??? I’ve taken measures to lessen the weight and I think this is it : )
glorious deep purple tops with a single holed bead dangling from it. All findings are sterling silver and handmade by me. These are sooo cool!
Again - loving classic color combinations jet black with ivory dotted dangles below. All findings are sterling silver.
