16” & 18” diamond cut sterling silver snake chains available
These are such a wonderfully relaxing bead to make - I could make them for days… but I wanted just enough here today to remind you how lovely they are! Small are 3/8”D, large just a little over 3/4” Overall the set measures 7 3/4“ long.
I had intended to make a necklace of all the same design beads - but as typically happens - my creative was unleashed and I found that these accompanying colors made this piece much more fun and versatile. After all… this is not matchy matchy machine made art… and this is how I typically ‘roll’ - The first necklace I made was made with silver rings between each pair of beads - but it was so much more limited - and I reverted to my favorite - unassuming black cording - with a nice matte finish & position ‘locking’ beads that hold the focals in place. Although this necklace is ample for most of us - it is adjustable in length and the beads are repositionable - this gives you the final say of how they are grouped and what length it is. Adjustable from 32“ to 42”
Silvered Honey Earrings - $50
It seems that once the single hole bead was mastered that the earrings became a little more elegant and refined… I have come to think of this color as fun & nicely neutral. I’ve dressed it up with a hearty wrap of silver wire - * read about the use of silver in my blog. 1/2” round beads dangle nicely from handmade ear wires of sterling silver.
Summer Weekends - $230
I’ve left the potential necklace unfinished - as I can adjust the finished length of this more standard style necklace more easily this way - as shown it measures 19“ long… I can extend this with the beads I’ve used as spacers by adding a third between each of the lampwork beads… or add length at the back - close to what will be the sterling silver toggle clasp.
Box - DenimClrGrnAmber - $80
Bonepile - etched clr, denim, lt green, transparent, grey and amber.
Teardrop Over n Under Necklace - $68
Every so often I am very pleased with the slight lentilization of these teardrop shaped pendants. This is one of them. Jet black glass is dotted with silver saturated glass which allows for the varying colors - from mossy greens to rich royal blues. Silver is a key element in the magical tool box of most lampworkers - and I’ve written a piece about this on my blog. 5/29/2018
Pure pools of denim glass - delicately suspended from sterling silver ear wires.
Beautifully organic pendants in silvered ivory - the design has been left - while the field is etched… capped with a visually textured ball and a bar of silvered glass… and outfitted with my unique silver hinge system that allows this pendant to have movement - and delight. This measures 2 1/2” in length and is extremely wearable!
Beautiful example of when my efforts to get rid of the mandrel hole has paid off! Equally matched, each pair has a ‘self cap’ of color and a bottom of wonderful denim blue glass. Suspended from sterling silver handmade earwires - these are very pretty.
There’s nothing quite so nice as crisp white on navy… I’ve made these so that the design is slightly raised - I feel this allows more visual interest… and a certain tactile presence - so that absent-minded touching of the beads bring a familiarity of design…. hmmm - that’s a bit convoluted… but you know what I mean! These are 1/2”D paired with 3/8”D rounds - all have 1/16” mandrel holes. NICE SET!
Every so often I just need to lighten the amount of beads I have… makes me free to make more! This box holds some wonderfully chunky tabs and lentils. And some offset hole ambers… and a small array of others
These lovelies sport four layers of color bars and a small dollop to dangle at the base. Love them - easy to wear - love the swingy ease of these earrings! 2 1/8” from top to tip.
Some of my favorites!! 1/2”D rounds threaded onto swingy posts that dangle from my fun round earwires. All findings are sterling silver - and come with the little plastic ear nuts so you won’t lose them… or one…(but you actually have to use them!). These measure 1 3/4”L from top to tip.
Encased trails of starlight over a transparent denim base… 1/2”D beads on sterling silver headpins - with same for ear wires. These hang “ from your earlobe.
Delicate is what this is all about - from the graceful five petal stylized flower to the strand of 14ea 3/8”D sepia rounds. All have 1/16” mandrel holes - the focal (1 1/2” x 1 1/4”) has a sterling bail already in place.
Lovely pools of smooth transparent sky blue… I love the unbroken span of transparent glass… isn’t that what it’s all about? So pretty. These are 1 5/8”L from top to tip, the volume equiv. of the 1/2”D rounds - but in a different shape.
Two fun pair of 5/8”D rounds - suspended close to the earlobe - it’s a bluey/purple… solid on the L, veiled over clear on the right… one hole - filled with a sterling silver bail - suspended from sterling silver ear wires… these dangle 1 1/4“ from your earlobe.
Classic navy/white 15mmD lentils with 1/16” mandrel holes. Love the crisp designs here - and the soft & easy way these wear.
Fun for summertime *note these are 5/8”D rounds - I love these bright colors - these earrings are all about the glass… the pair on the left has a gently pebbled surface for visual interest. The ones on the right are smoooothly velvety etched… and the ones in the middle are the same volume of glass as the others - just pressed into these lovely rounds.
Sweet, well balanced, and delicate.
Sounds like the perfect meal, huh? No - it’s these earrings - getting the bar to balance is always a trick… but these are super pretty - and nicely neutral for most humans. : ) 1 5/8” from top to tip.
OH, gosh… yes - more.
I always obsess until I tire of it. OBVIOUSLY, not tired yet. Lovely crisp edged matchsticks, with round dangles - all sterling silver findings…

Favorites this week - Fantastic shimmering blue of the wound boro that spins freely, capped by a 3/8”d pop of color. Overall these measure 2 1/8“ from top to tip.
Sweet pop of color graduated greens with a drop of plain old clear colorless at the base. I know summertimes here are so darn hot - I rarely feel like wearing necklaces… but this has that “barely there” feel. Sweet 20”L sterling ball chain.
Yum - color. Gosh, I’ve missed working with transparent glass - can you tell?? This is a gorgeous transparent cranberry glass - and these earrings hang balanced at 1 5/8”L from top to tip. All findings are sterling silver.
Swirling light amethyst rounds that measure 5/8”D add a touch of swing and elegance… I’ve topped them with silver granulated tubes and as the norm - handmade sterling earwires. These pretties measure 1 3/4” from top to tip.
Sweet, no? Petite version for those who love the larger ones above, but don’t feel comfortable wearing that big. This pair has the granulated silver bead below the ear wire… These measure 2” from top to tip.
Petite and sweet… there is just something about this color that I love…
Loop your stringing medium around the ring and secure… then thread through the hole on the toggle and secure… a sweetly fun new toggle for your glassy creations! : ) Ring is 13/16”D and toggle is 1 7/8”L

I do love the combination of texture and color… and shape - AND the mingling of all this… Lovely pendant in three parts - hinged to allow for playful movement while worn… large sterling hanging loop in place. Measures 3 1/4“L.
I see these components as the sound of music… staccato dots, and fluid melodic ramblings… brought to you on a three part pendant that’s hinged between components - which allows for a nice swingy movement when worn. Measures 3 3/16“L, all findings are sterling silver.

Denim with Confetti - $45
58mm long, denim blue veiled over clear to make the color less dense… deeply capped with ivory - and random islands of color. I love springtime - and this focal seems like a nice segue there! One hole only - with a permanent bail of sterling set in place - ready to wear!! This focal measures 58mm from top to tip.
So - Tassels are in… this is a glass version of that thought. Some of my favorite colors and shapes - into an elongated pendant that has such nice movement. Overall this beauty measures 98mm… (just shy of 4”) it comes ready to be slipped onto a nice long chain or be woven into your dreams.
How you want it… naturally a big puddle of clear glass amplifies what’s underneath. I’m showing this set two ways… amplified and colorful - and in the lower right - raised dots - your set - your choice. I have given you a dozen 3/8” purple spacers - eight of them are wound over a core of clear to make the color less dense… four are solid purple color. The dots of purple on the main part have a range of saturation so - this works! This set measures 7“ as strung, with 1/16” mandrel holes.
mmm. This is, perhaps, one of my very favorite pendants of all time. I could say more… but - I really don’t need to. (60mm from top to tip)
I received an email last week with a shot of the surface of Jupiter… it was beautiful. This reminded me of what it must be like to have the stark contrast of a colorful surface showcased against the dark of the universe.
I love this pendant. It’s graceful, sized nicely, half domed to alleviate too much weight and it’s just perfect. The findings are sterling and are already in place - just add a chain and off you go!
